I recently visited this popular cafe near the University of Hong Kong. The restaurant features a lot of natural wood furniture, complemented by large windows that let in natural light. The space is clean and simple, giving it a homey feel. Their biggest draw is that they're a woodworking workshop, so they make their own tables, chairs, and furnishings. Sit down for a cup of coffee and admire the handmade furniture—it's quite unique. Seared Shrimp with Italian Linguine with Mullet Roe The shrimp were pan-fried to perfection, complementing the salty flavor of the mullet roe and the springy linguine for a complex flavor. The sauce was perfectly absorbed, not too greasy, and the texture was just right. Classic Lasagna with Roasted Broccoli The lasagna was baked to a charred golden brown, the meat sauce was rich, and the dough and cheese blended beautifully. The broccoli was lightly roasted, giving it a slightly charred aroma that balanced the richness of the lasagna. Smoked Brie Basque Cheesecake (Gluten-Free) This dessert is quite unique. It's smooth and soft, with a rich cheese flavor and a light smoky aroma. It's not overly sweet and pairs perfectly with coffee. It's also gluten-free.
