Free Exhibition: Dunhuang Art Exhibition at the University of Hong Kong

This summer, the "Dreamy Dunhuang: Recreating the Magnificent Realm of Dunhuang" exhibition is open to the public for free at the University of Hong Kong! The exhibition features various representative Dunhuang art pieces, with the highlight being the 1:1 replica of Mogao Cave 45 on the 2nd floor, showcasing Tang Dynasty painted sculptures and murals (see images 2-4). On the 3rd floor, in addition to mural displays, there are several seating areas with cushions where you can immerse yourself in Dunhuang Buddhist art through animations. It's also a great and relaxing spot to chill (see images 10-11). Please note that the exhibition is located within the university premises. Be prepared to present your ID at the university entrance for registration. When you arrive at the library, inform the security staff that you wish to visit the exhibition, and they will provide you with a wristband granting access (reportedly allowing a 2-hour stay).
