【Sai Ying Pun】FIKAFABRIKEN: Nordic-style Café, Surprising Coffee and Desserts

In a busy city, finding a café that allows you to slow down is always a luxury. Located in Sai Ying Pun, FIKAFABRIKEN exudes a simple yet warm atmosphere from its decor to its dishes. The store design fully embodies Nordic style—wooden furniture, soft lighting, and clean tones make you feel comfortable the moment you step in. This time, we ordered two brunch sets: 1️⃣ Parma Ham & Sausage Stew in Pesto Sauce This pasta is fairly standard in texture, with a light sauce and a prominent herb flavor. However, the toppings are quite simple, with a slightly insufficient amount of ham and sausage. The overall taste is not stunning but it’s not greasy. 2️⃣ Seafood in Lobster Bisque Sauce This dish is a bit richer, with a lobster bisque sauce that has a subtle seafood sweetness, but the seafood portion is also small, mostly just pasta. Hot White Coffee The brunch set includes a drink under $40, and I chose the Hot White Coffee, which became the highlight of the entire brunch. The milk foam is creamy, the coffee aroma is strong, and the taste is smooth without bitterness—definitely a great coffee worth ordering again. Dessert: Swedish Cinnamon Swirl For dessert, we ordered the Swedish Cinnamon Swirl. This cinnamon roll is crispy on the outside and soft inside, with moderate sweetness and a rich cinnamon aroma that doesn’t overpower.
