Sai Kung, known for its stunning coastline and tranquil fishing village atmosphere, is often referred to as the backyard of Hong Kong. On weekends, consider taking a day trip to Sai Kung to deeply experience its natural beauty and food culture. This time, we followed this day trip route: Take a minibus from Choi Hung to Sai Kung → Sai Kung Pier → Lions Nature Education Centre → Cafe Neko Bear Cave on Sai Kung Main Street → Sing Kee Seafood Restaurant → WM Hotel Hong Kong. There are several minibuses near Choi Hung Station that can take you to Sai Kung. Besides Choi Hung, you can also choose to take a minibus from Hang Hau. During the ride, the scenery outside the window gradually changes from the hustle and bustle of the city to the tranquility of nature. Upon arriving at Sai Kung Pier, the aroma of seafood restaurants fills the air. This place is not only a seafood paradise but also the starting point for exploring various islands in Sai Kung. From the pier, we walked to the Lions Nature Education Centre. There are five exhibition halls and multiple outdoor exhibition areas here, offering various nature education activities. After playing, we went to Sai Kung Main Street, where many cafes are gathered. We finally chose to taste the famous udon and cafe at Neko Bear Cave. The relaxed and pleasant environment there is perfect for resting and recharging. After lunch, we checked in at WM Hotel Hong Kong. The hotel's elegant and comfortable environment is an ideal place to relax and unwind. At dinner time, we went to Sing Kee Seafood Restaurant arranged by the hotel to enjoy a seafood feast. The seafood was fresh and delicious, and the unique techniques of the restaurant perfectly brought out the freshness of the seafood.
