Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major

Visiting Rome during the Catholic Jubilee was such an amazing experience. One of the things I really wanted to do was visit the Major Papal Basilicas, which Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major is one. The present church on the site was consecrated in 434 and was the first church dedicated to Saint Mary in the Western world. The facade and interiors are exquisite. #celebrateit #jubilee #rome
