Honestly, I am really angry! Because, to put it simply, the trip has just begun, and visiting friends in the UK was just a part of it. However, if you ask me now if I would come back to Rome, In terms of safety, I would probably say no. But I can't generalize everyone. If we talk about historical sites, I would definitely come back. But, I never thought it would be so difficult to report a crime. On the first day, I asked the traffic police nearby where the police station was, but they just told me to go to platform 1. After searching for a long time, I went back to ask the traffic police again, and they seemed impatient. Finally, I found it, but it was closed. As a last resort, I went back to the hotel and asked the receptionist for help. She gave me an address, but after walking for 10 minutes, I realized it was the wrong place, so I turned back. On the second day, I never thought it would be even harder to report a crime. I went to the nearest central station police office and explained the situation in English over the intercom. The only response I got was 'WAIT'. I sat outside for over 20 minutes, feeling really disappointed with their attitude. So I took my friend's advice and went to another police station. After walking for about 10 minutes, I reached another police station. The officer said, 'This happened yesterday, you should have reported it yesterday. If it happened at the Colosseum, you should report it at the Colosseum police station, not here.' After a heated argument with my friend, the officer finally listened, but I never expected to wait for over an hour, only to be given a form in Chinese. I thought I could fill it out in Chinese, but when I submitted it, the officer said he didn't understand English and tore it up. Then, jokingly or seriously, he said he would give me a new form but would charge me 1 or 2 euros. Finally, I successfully submitted the form. I waited outside for a response, as I just needed a receipt to contact the insurance company, and I had to catch a flight back to Hong Kong.
