There are also many shopping areas and museums nearby, and the Giolitti restaurant and ice cream shop is just two blocks away. 🌇The hotel is located on a quiet street with many small shops nearby. Although the hotel is a bit old and the elevator occasionally breaks down, the overall experience is good. The front desk staff are especially friendly and helpful, recommending restaurants and calling taxis for us. The room is a bit small, but very clean, with fresh sheets every day and complete facilities. The bathroom is small, but fully functional. 🛏️The overall experience is good. The double room is a bit small, but clean and tidy, and the bed is very comfortable. Our room had a slight minty smell, but it was fine with some ventilation. The room has a small terrace, and breakfast is served on the rooftop every morning. The breeze is refreshing and the mood is instantly lifted. There aren't many breakfast options, but the coffee is delicious. 📌The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of many major attractions and churches, and there are more than 30 restaurants within five blocks. We especially liked some of the nearby restaurants, such as Lume - Osteria Alle Scalette, Adesso Vineria-bistrot, and DOC EnoBistrot - Cruderia & Cucina, which are all great dining options! 🌟Although the facilities at Hotel Portoghesi Rome are a bit old, the location and service are definitely worth recommending. Sitting on the terrace every night with a glass of wine and enjoying the night view of Rome is really relaxing. If you want to visit Rome, consider this hotel!
