[Hokkaido] Oshidomari Port on Rishiri Island: The Sea Gateway to the Remote Islands

Oshidomari Port is the ocean gateway to Rishiri Island, an isolated island in the north of Hokkaido. The ferry terminal is a large two-story building, and there are rental car shops and souvenir shops nearby. Pick-up and drop-off for hotels on the island is mainly handled here and at Rishiri Airport. On the first floor there is a souvenir shop, ticket office, and tourist information center. On the second floor there is a waiting room, restaurant, and coffee stand.
