Regensburg, Germany Originally, I didn't plan to stop when passing by this town, but I was attracted by the towering church from afar, so I changed my itinerary and stopped to explore this town. This town is located on the banks of the Danube River. I found out that this town has been listed as one of the World Heritage Sites. It was an important strategic location in the early Holy Roman Empire, and it is now the fourth largest city in Bavaria. Germany 🇩🇪 Regensburg Originally not planned as a stop, captivated my attention with its towering cathedral from a distance. I decided to alter my itinerary and explore this town situated along the Danube River. To my surprise, I discovered that Regensburg is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once a crucial strategic location in the Holy Roman Empire, it now stands as the fourth-largest city in Bavaria.
