Regensburg Old Town

"Regensburg Old Town" is located on the banks of the Danube River, 140 kilometers north of Munich. The city center has 1,500 buildings that are under heritage protection, of which 984 make up the old town area, including Stadtamhof. It bears witness to Regensburg's history as a trade center, as well as the impact this city had on the region in the 9th century.
