Quanzhou Tianhou Temple

Quanzhou Tianhou Temple is a historic Mazu temple located on Zhongshan Road in Quanzhou, Fujian Province. It is an important religious and cultural landmark in the area. During this visit, I experienced the rich Minnan (Southern Fujian) culture and faith. The temple's architecture is ancient and simple, with intricate carvings and a thriving incense-burning tradition. The Mazu statue enshrined within the temple exudes solemnity and compassion, inspiring deep respect. The steady stream of worshippers in front of the temple highlights the significant role of Mazu belief in the hearts of the local people. The overall environment is clean and serene, making it an ideal place for quiet worship.
