Chen Clan Ancestral Hall in Yaxi Village, Quannan County, Jiangxi Province.

Yaxi Chen Clan Ancestral Hall was first built in 1912 and has undergone several major renovations since then. It is said that it took 10 years to build. The ancestral hall covers an area of about 600 square meters, with a layout of three bays, four courtyards, and three patios. The main entrance is concave, with a wooden door frame and stone pillow, and a stone plaque with the words "Chen Clan Ancestral Hall" embedded above it. The stone plaque is surrounded by carved patterns, and the first patio is paved with cobblestones. The second courtyard has wooden pillars and stone bases, with a wooden plaque with the words "Yimen Chuanjia" hanging above the main entrance. The third courtyard has a wooden screen, with a wooden plaque with the words "Renwen Weiqi" hanging above it. The fourth courtyard has a wooden plaque with the words "Chongzheng Hall" hanging above it. The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall has an ancient and elegant architectural style, with exquisite stone carvings, brick carvings, and wood carvings. The lintels, corridor columns, and walls are also carved and painted with ancestral virtues and family instructions. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Ganzhou City.
