Qiongzhong Mountain Homestay: Live to 100 Here?

Last week, I went hiking with a friend on Limu Mountain, and we discovered an amazing hidden gem of a homestay! Xue Er Shan Fang (Homestay) is a renovated abandoned elementary school nestled amidst the lush greenery of Limu Mountain. The architecture retains the original school's structure, with rooms converted from former classrooms. Many details preserve the essence of the old schoolhouse, complemented by garden and landscape design. Stepping inside evokes a sense of tranquility. The homestay faces the main peak of Limu Mountain. During our stay, we woke up at 6:30 a.m. to watch the sunrise emerge from the misty mountain peaks. In the evening, the setting sun cast a golden glow on the main peak, creating a breathtaking view. Our room was a small suite with a balcony filled with fragrant osmanthus flowers. At night, we enjoyed a pot of homemade osmanthus wine with the homestay owner, sitting on the balcony under a starlit sky. This brief escape from the hustle and bustle of city life was truly therapeutic. We had all our meals at the homestay. The staff at Xue Er Shan Fang are excellent cooks, using locally sourced ingredients from the mountain. The food was delicious; I easily had two bowls of rice! Limu Mountain is far from the town, so there aren't many entertainment options. During our stay, we hiked through the lush, rolling hills, discovered a unique geological formation called Limu Mountain Stone Mortar, and visited the local Limu Temple. ♥️Room Type: Small Glass View Room
