People who have climbed Jiuhua Mountain are really tight-lipped.

"If I do not first deliver those suffering and bring them peace and happiness, I will never attain Buddhahood." After reciting DZJ for almost two years, I finally had time to visit Jiuhua Mountain. I'm terrified of heights, but I still wanted to try climbing the Heavenly Terrace. My legs were shaking with nervousness going up and down the mountain, but the constant chanting of names and incantations around me made me feel safe. On the way, I met workers picking up trash and monks at the summit. They all said to everyone, "May your wishes come true, may you be safe and healthy..." Such auspicious words! I hope I can always utter such beautiful words. On the way down, I saw people carrying sedan chairs, panting as they went up. At that moment, my heart ached. Everyone has their own difficulties, but it's still so hard. When I was so scared, I couldn't remember anything I usually memorized, so I could only repeatedly recite those few lines: "Ksitigarbha, Ksitigarbha, your divine power is inconceivable, your eloquence is inconceivable..." I recited them until I reached the bottom. Although the Moon Body Hall was crowded, I felt refreshed and happy as soon as I went up. I circled around three times and queued to see the well. I didn't see anything about what bad things I had done in my past life. The energy at the Sandalwood Forest felt the most special! Outside the final hall, I felt both happy and aggrieved. There was a couplet on a pillar: "If you can change your mind, there's no need for my great compassion; If you don't turn back, who will save you from suffering?" The energy of Jiuhua Mountain felt gentler and more inclusive… After climbing, I suddenly realized that "making a vow" is actually: wishing that when I have the ability, I can reach out my hand; wishing that when I speak, my words can warm people.
