Free shuttle from the high-speed rail station, and they even drew us a map of nearby lesser-known temples (Xinan Temple is just a 15-minute walk for blessings) 🌿 Nearby Activities: 1️⃣ Jiuhua Mountain Visitor Center (5 minutes by car) 2️⃣ Xinan Temple / Pingtan Temple (within walking distance, very popular for incense burning) 3️⃣ Plum blossom forest behind the homestay (stunning bloom in February) 4️⃣ Yanqi Lake in front of the door for fishing and boating 🍵 Must-Try: ▫️ Be sure to try the rooftop starry sky bathtub! We soaked while counting stars✨ ▫️ For dinner, order their stinky mandarin fish and Hu Shi specialty hot pot, all ingredients are freshly dug locally ▫️ In the morning, remember to visit the tea room to drink Jiuhua Buddhist tea, paired with handmade glutinous rice cakes, it's amazing 🚗 Transportation Tips: From Hefei/Nanjing, it’s recommended to take the high-speed train to Jiuhua Mountain Station. The homestay offers shuttle service (book 2 hours in advance). For self-driving, navigate to "No. 8, Xiling, Yangchong Village, Rongcheng Town".
