🙏 Jiuhuashan: Just Got Back, and It's Truly a Spiritual Experience! 💫

#chinatravel I'm back from Jiuhuashan, and I have to be honest—it's incredibly powerful and spiritual! The Grand Vow Cultural Park is one of the main attractions and is home to the majestic 99-meter-tall statue of Kṣitigarbha Bodhisattva. It's a truly spectacular sight. Kṣitigarbha is a symbol of "great vows" and "filial piety" in Buddhism, and you can come here to pray for anything. Just believe, and your wishes may come true! Getting There: By Air: Fly into Jiuhuashan Airport. You can catch a shuttle bus to the "Passenger Center" for ¥20 (they run every two hours, so don't miss one or you'll need to take a taxi!). By Train: Go to Chizhou Station. There's also a shuttle bus that goes directly to the "Passenger Center." Alternatively, you can take the 40-bus route. Your Guide to the Park: Entry: The park itself is free! You just need to scan a QR code at the entrance to get a ¥0 ticket. If you're unsure, the staff are happy to help. Shuttle Bus: If you're with kids, seniors, or just want to save your energy, the round-trip shuttle bus ticket is ¥30 per person. You can catch it at the Hongyuan Hall entrance, and it takes you directly to the statue. If you prefer to walk, it's about 25 minutes. Hongyuan Hall: This is the only place in the park that requires a ticket. It has two floors and details the history of the park and Kṣitigarbha culture. It’s a good stop if you have the time and interest. Free Incense: You can pick up three free incense sticks at the censer at the foot of the statue's stairs, or you can bring your own. Climb the Stairs: As you walk up the stairs to the statue, you can step on the lotus petal patterns. This is believed to symbolize "stepping on a lotus, arriving home safely." Touch the Buddha's Feet: On the left side of the platform below the statue, there's an entrance where you can go up to touch the Buddha's feet. The entrance closes at 4:50 PM, so make sure you get there in time. I made a wish for the rain to stop on my way back, and to my surprise, it did! Wishing you all the best and hoping your wishes come true, too. #spiritualtravel #jiuhuashan #buddhisttemple #wishescometrue #travelguide
