The 99-meter-tall Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva statue is located in Jiuhua Mountain, Anhui

Upon approaching Jiuhua Mountain in Anhui, one can see the colossal statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva from afar. Standing 99 meters tall among the mountains, the statue looks down from above with a commanding presence, shining brilliantly in the sunlight with a golden glow. The statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is the world's largest outdoor bronze statue of Ksitigarbha, situated in the Great Vow Cultural Park of Jiuhua Mountain. Jiuhua Mountain, one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China, is located within the territory of Chizhou City, Anhui Province. It is an internationally renowned Buddhist site dedicated to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and is also a mountainous national scenic area known for its Buddhist culture and the natural and cultural beauty. Jiuhua Mountain is the sacred site of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva and is listed among the four great Buddhist mountains of China, alongside Mount Wutai in Shanxi, Mount Putuo in Zhejiang, and Mount Emei in Sichuan.
