May Travel: Two-Day Tour Guide to Mount Jiuhua👍 Mount Jiuhua Travel Guide For the Labor Day holiday, I visited Mount Jiuhua without joining a tour group. I simply bought a ticket to the Mount Jiuhua high-speed train station, which started operating on April 26. I arrived at the station at 5:30 pm, and there were homestays nearby. The next day, I took the first direct bus to the scenic area from Mount Jiuhua high-speed train station at 8:20 am. I bought a ticket for the scenic area shuttle bus on the bus for 50 yuan per person, and it took half an hour to reach the Mount Jiuhua Tourist Service Center. There, I transferred to the Jiuhua Street scenic area sightseeing bus, which took 20 minutes on a winding mountain road to reach Yingxian Bridge. Then, I scanned a QR code to buy a ticket for 160 yuan per person to enter the scenic area, or you could buy the ticket online in advance. The scenic area is divided into three parts: Jiuhua Street, Tiantai, and Huatai. Tiantai and Huatai are vast areas that require taking a cable car up and down. Jiuhua Street scenic area includes the Gion Temple, Daxiong Treasure Hall, Baisui Palace, Dongya Zen Temple, Wanfo Pagoda, Huixiang Pavilion, Tonghui Zen Forest, Huacheng Temple, Phoenix Pine, Shangchan Hall, and Yuanshen Treasure Hall. Each temple offers free incense for tourists to worship and offer to Buddha. Baisui Palace has a cable car, but due to the long queue, I chose to climb the steps, all 1479 of them. I rested after every section and finally reached Baisui Palace after more than an hour; it was not easy. To go to Yuanshen Treasure Hall, you also have to climb more than nine hundred steps. There is no cable car, so you have to rely on your own climbing. On the return trip, I took a shuttle bus from Yingxian Bridge to the Tourist Service Center, then transferred to a free shuttle bus. I got off at Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Cultural Park to visit the 99-meter-tall statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, and then took the shuttle bus back to Mount Jiuhua high-speed train station.
