Mount Jiuhua, originally known as 'Mount Jiuzi', is located in the southwest of Qingyang County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province. It is a mountainous national scenic area characterized by Buddhist culture and a combination of natural and cultural landscapes, and it is also one of the four famous Buddhist mountains in China. There are currently 99 temples, nearly a thousand monks and nuns, and over ten thousand Buddha statues. Since the Tang Dynasty, 16 naturally mummified bodies have formed, and 5 of them are available for public viewing.
