☘️ Princess House is located in Badaguan, Qingdao, and is one of the landmark buildings of the Qingdao World Architecture Expo. The villa is a typical Nordic pastoral style, with a brick and wood structure, 3 floors above ground and 1 floor underground. The corridor is decorated with photos of the Danish royal family. 🌾 There is a beautiful story behind the Princess House. In 1929, a Danish prince took the luxury cruise ship Fionia to Qingdao for a vacation. He was attracted by the beautiful coastal scenery of Badaguan. After returning to Denmark, he commissioned Zhao Hengsheng, the first Danish consul in Qingdao, to purchase land and build this building according to the artistic conception of Andersen's fairy tales as a gift to the Danish princess. For some reason, the princess did not come to Qingdao, but the name of the Princess House became widely known. 🚉 Transportation: Take Metro Line 3 to Huiquan Square Station.
