Qiao Family Courtyard

🌟Highlights: The Qiao Family Courtyard was built in 1756 during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. It was built by Qiao Zhiyong during the reign of Emperor Tongzhi and was renovated twice. ❤Recommended reason: The Qiao Family Courtyard faces east and covers an area of 4,175 square meters. It consists of 6 courtyards, 20 small courtyards, and 313 rooms. The layout is in the shape of the Chinese character "喜" (happiness). The courtyard is surrounded by walls, providing strong defense and privacy. 👍Most recommended: The main gate faces east and has a tall gate tower. The gate is in the shape of a city gate, and opposite the gate is a brick carving of the "Hundred Longevity" screen wall. Inside the gate is a stone-paved east-west corridor, about 80 meters long and 7 meters wide, separating the six courtyards on both sides. There are protective walls on both sides of the corridor, and at the end of the corridor is the ancestral hall, which faces the main gate and is in the style of a temple.
