Regret not discovering it earlier | Zihong Twin Tomb Tower is absolutely amazing

The three-pole tower in Zihong Village is currently a county-level cultural relic protection unit, but no cultural relic protection steles were found around the tower. The navigation 🧭 did not search 🔍 the exact location of the tomb tower. When we were near Zihong Village, we saw the tomb tower from a distance. The shape was very special and rare. We drove along the direction of the tomb tower 🧭 and almost reached the front of the tomb tower 🪦. It is said that this is a tomb tower built by a wealthy family in Jiexiu named Hu who served as an official in the imperial court. The owner of the tomb is Hu Yingkui, but no specific information can be found on the Internet💻. Built in the first year of the Longqing reign of the Ming Dynasty (1567), the three towers were erected for three tombs. Today, one of them collapsed at some point, and now only the twin towers remain, standing opposite each other from east to west, and both are now leaning. Facing southwest and back to north, the two towers are about 12 meters apart. The top of the tower is round, and a gem carved from sandstone is placed on the top of the helmet. An iron brake rod is installed on it as a lightning protection device, but its whereabouts are now unknown. Although the twin tomb towers in Zihong Village are not large in scale and are not very old, they are well preserved overall. This is mainly because of their special shape. They are also special folk tomb towers in Jinzhong area and are definitely worth a visit.
