Valley of the Kings

One of the biggest and best attractions is visiting the valley of kings in Egypt. It’s about an hours drive to the site from Luxor and worth every penny. Just a heads up for anyone that will be enjoying this excursion, the ticket is valid for 3 tombs only, so choose the king that you would absolutely love to witness. We ended up purchasing another ticket at the ticket counter, to see 3 additional tombs and it was worth it. However, it is a long walk and golf cart ride back to the entry gate to purchase the additional tickets. So if you do plan to see more than 3 tombs try to purchase them prior with the excursion company. #valleyofthekings
