Magazines recommended this place, but hear my words before going

#celebrateit Ordered a Rosot and a pierogi. Rosot was too basic to my palate: standard chicken soup, no less nor more; broken/choppy thin noodles, no much textural variation; mostly carrot for the ingredients. Pierogi, on the other hand, was underwhelming despite the review. The filling was generous, but the flavor is okay and the texture somehow powdery. Since the potato dough was a tad powdery (and thick&dense), the whole thing tasted a bit like chewing some raw dough (it’s not tho). At first I thought it could be cultural differences, then I had another one in Gdansk and realized it could taste a lot better with some extra cooking arts. So overall, I don’t think this place does justice to Polish cuisine, if you’re a foreigner and would wanna be able to fall in love with Polish food. 📍Address: Wiejskie Jadło
