Poznan trip 🗺️

#traveldiaries I recently spent a few days in Poznań, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The heart of the city, Stary Rynek (Old Market Square), is absolutely stunning with its colorful Renaissance-style townhouses and the famous Town Hall. Don’t miss the 12 PM “Poznań Goats” clock show—free and fun! 🐐 The whole square feels alive with street performers, cozy cafés, and restaurants. For a small fee (around 10 PLN), I explored the Poznań Cathedral on Ostrów Tumski island, one of the oldest in Poland. Nearby, I took a relaxing stroll in the Citadel Park, a huge green space with sculptures, old fortifications, and museums. Food-wise, I couldn’t resist trying some local delicacies—if you visit, make sure to try the famous Rogal świętomarciński, a sweet pastry that’s a local specialty.
