Touchdown in Pisa After a quick flight, we landed in Pisa and headed straight for its most famous landmark: the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Seeing it in person was surreal, and of course, we couldn’t resist taking the classic “holding it up” photos. The tower’s quirky tilt and stunning architecture made it the perfect start to our adventure. Tower Climb and Pizza Time Next, we climbed the leaning tower itself. The views from the top were incredible, giving us a new perspective of the city. The staircase had a noticeable tilt, which added to the fun (and a little dizziness!). After working up an appetite, we sat down at a nearby pizzeria for an authentic Italian pizza. Fresh, cheesy, and delicious—nothing beats eating pizza in Pisa! Strolling Along the River With full bellies, we strolled along the Arno River, taking in the relaxed vibe of the city. The colorful buildings reflected in the water, and the peaceful atmosphere was the perfect way to wind down before heading back.
