I visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

At the end of August, I traveled to Italy, and Pisa was one of my bookmarked spots 🤭. It takes about 1.5 hours to get to Pisa by train from Florence. The trains run quite frequently in the morning. Looking out the train window, the scenery was older than I expected, with many dilapidated houses (and a lot of Black people). Upon arrival, there's a bus stop right outside the station, where you can catch a bus to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The roads are very narrow, and the bus weaved through the streets skillfully, with the driver being quite adept 🤣. When you get off the bus, you'll see many street stalls selling souvenirs and clothes, which are cheaper than in Florence or Milan, with a wide variety to choose from! Once inside, there were a lot of people taking photos around the Leaning Tower of Pisa, whether up close or from a distance. Basically, in any photo you take, there will be people in the background. We didn't buy tickets to go inside because we read online that the top of the tower is surrounded by a net, which obstructs the view, making it pointless to take photos. We stayed for half a day and then left, as there wasn't much else to see around the area.
