We just came back from Pinghu, Jiaxing. This is a great place to see maple leaves and take kids to play around Shanghai. It's a 1.5-hour drive from Shanghai. 📍Yuyuan Country Resort, a two-day, one-night trip. It's a great place to take kids. Highlights✨ Now is the best time to see maple leaves. The rows of maple trees 🍁 are especially beautiful when the sun shines through the leaves. ☀️ It's a great place to take photos. You must take your kids here to see the maple leaves, or you'll have to wait until next year. ▪️Accommodation We stayed in a family suite. The room has a large bed and a bunk bed for kids, which is perfect for families with two kids. The room has a small courtyard with a great view. ▪️Activities Outdoor: Kayaking, off-road vehicles, a non-powered children's play area, mini golf 🏌🏻‍♀️, and a snail 🐌 petting zoo. All of these activities are great for kids. Indoor: We took our kids to visit a vegetable factory to see organic vegetables 🥬 up close. In the evening, you can play tabletop games in the warm house club. ▪️Dining We had all three meals at the Yuyuan Restaurant, which was very convenient. In the afternoon, you can enjoy tea and pizza. It's also a great experience for kids to make pizza.
