Niangzi Pass - the ninth pass of the Great Wall.

[○] Niangziguan Scenic Area is located in Niangziguan Town, Pingding County, Yangquan City, Shanxi Province. It is one of the famous passes on the Great Wall of China and is known as the "Ninth Pass of the Great Wall". [○] Niangzi Pass, formerly known as Weize Pass, was first built by Princess Pingyang Zhao, sister of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin of the Tang Dynasty. Princess Pingyang once led troops to garrison here, and her troops were called the "Women's Army". [○] The main attractions of the scenic area include Niangziguan City, waterfalls and Pingyang Lake. Each area has its own unique charm. [Pushpin] Niangziguan City: The existing city tower and city wall sections were built in the Ming Dynasty.
