The Big Buddha @ Phuket

#thailandtravel #phuket The Big Buddha is an awe-inspiring and grand monument. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to visit and pay our respects at this sacred site. Since it is a revered place, proper attire is required, meaning skirts and shorts are not allowed. However, sarongs are available for rent. The Big Buddha itself stands majestically at the top of a long staircase, leading to the mountain’s summit, adding to the sense of reverence as you approach. Once at the top, you’re treated to nearly 360-degree panoramic views of Phuket, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Additionally, there are guided meditation sessions available for visitors. We were able to participate, spending time in quiet reflection amidst the peaceful surroundings. Overall, it was a truly memorable and enriching experience.
