Wat Khesakhunphanom, the legend of King Taksin of Nakhon Si Thammarat

Wat Khao Khun Phanom, Phrom Khiri District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province is an ancient temple with historical significance. Inside the temple, there is a cave called Haew Ta Kfa, where a Buddha image is enshrined. According to the beliefs of the people of Nakhon Si Thammarat, this place is where King Taksin the Great fled to become a monk and resided until his death.
