Perast is a small town located on the Kotor Bay in Montenegro. Despite its small size, the town boasts 16 churches and 17 palaces of various sizes. The encounter between land and sea has earned it the reputation of being the most beautiful ancient town between mountains and sea. 🚶Attractions to visit in Perast: ⛪️St. Nicholas Church and Bell Tower: ⛪️St. Nicholas Church was built in 1616, and next to it is the Perast Bell Tower. The 55-meter-high Perast Bell Tower is connected to St. Nicholas Church, offering magnificent views of Perast and the Bay of Kotor. 🏝Two islands in the lake: 🏝Our Lady of the Rocks Island is an artificial island formed by piling stones and shipwrecks, with a history of nearly 400 years. The island features a Roman Catholic church (now a museum) and a beacon. The church houses 68 murals, which are quite spectacular.
