Climbing helvellyn!

Rising early with the mist still clinging to the hills, we began our ascent into the heart of the Lake District’s wild beauty. Step by step, the landscape transformed: rolling greens turned to craggy ridges, and the wind carried whispers of adventure. Striding Edge tested our nerve (and our balance), but every gust of wind and every shaky foothold was worth it. The ridge was pure drama- sheer drops on either side, the kind of view that makes your heart beat a little faster. Then came the summit: 950 metres of triumph. Clouds danced below us. Time paused. Phones out. Smiles wide. We caught our breath with a flask of tea and soaked in the silence before descending via Swirral Edge- equally thrilling, equally beautiful. Legs burning, spirits flying.
