Bailu Academy

Pengzhou Bailu Academy, also known as Lingbao Academy, is about 1.5 hours' drive from Chengdu. It is one of the two Catholic churches built by the French in Chengdu and has a history of over a hundred years! Unfortunately, it was severely damaged by an earthquake in 2008, just when it had reached its centenary! Most of the buildings you see now have been rebuilt on the original site! The church and classrooms here are closed to visitors, but there is a shared reading space where you can find some French-style decorations. You can rest, read, and enjoy coffee and desserts here! Opposite the academy is a lush green view, with the sound of birds hidden in the mountains and grasslands, offering a very comfortable natural scenery! A special reminder: there is a steep winding slope from Bailu Music Town to the academy, so be sure to drive safely!
