Waian Pirate Cave

Waian Pirate Cave turned out to be the most surprising highlight of my trip to Penghu! Initially, I had only heard about the legendary pirate treasure hidden in this cave, but I never expected the scenery to be so spectacular in person. Standing at the entrance of the cave, you can see waves crashing against the rocks, creating an incredibly powerful sound, while the salty sea breeze hits your face. The raw, untamed beauty of the place is irresistible, and I couldn’t help but take several photos. The nearby trails are also easy to walk, offering different perspectives of the stunning coastal erosion landscape. At sunset, the golden rays reflecting on the sea create a dreamy atmosphere, making it feel as if time has stopped. Although the location is a bit remote, it’s absolutely worth the visit!
