Palermo is like a long, old-fashioned train, loaded with a long history and rich culture

Palermo is the capital of Sicily, the largest city on the island, historically known as the 'Golden Basin'. Palermo's complex history, with Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Italians, and others taking turns to rule, has led to a collision and fusion of various cultures, resulting in diverse architectural styles. Someone once said, 'Italy has too many styles to fall into hell,' and this statement is very fitting for Palermo. I just visited Naples and found it chaotic and disorderly yet infinitely charming, while Palermo, which I have just seen, is gorgeously unstructured, rich and intricate, full of exotic charm, and everything is so intriguing.
