Japan's last secret place - Hokkaido's pink carpet / Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park

In the Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park in Kamiyubetsu Town, Hokkaido, the shibazakura are in full bloom from early May to early June every year. The short flowering period of just one month makes people linger; the whole field of blooming shibazakura is beautiful no matter how you take pictures! There is a shuttle bus in the park that takes you to the highest point for a fee, or you can take the stairs to the highest point, where you can worship the God of Wealth at the "Yamazumi Shrine" and get a bird's eye view of the entire park, which is also more refreshing! There is also a Sun Hill nearby where you can enjoy the moss phlox!
