Nam Kat Waterfal is about an hour drive from the town of Oudom Xai in the country's north-central area, just outside the Nam Ha National Bio-Diversity Reserve in Laos' Xiangkhouang Province. It's advisable to hire a guide in town and get a good night's sleep and a hearty meal before heading out, as the climb to the falls and back will take at least a few hours.
