Orleans Cathedral Cathédrale Sainte-Croix d’Orléans is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orléans. Orleans Cathedral is famous for its connection with Joan of Arc, who came to the cathedral to attend mass when the city was relieved on the evening of May 2, 1429. The stained glass windows in the church depict the story of Joan of Arc.
