#July2025 🏰Bouzov Castle🌏Bouzov Castle 🕰️Construction Date: AD 1910 // ⌛Bouzov Castle, located in central Moravia, was originally built in the early 13th century as a Late Gothic fortress. It was owned by the Teutonic Knights from the late 17th century until the end of World War I. The present-day appearance reflects its late-20th-century reconstruction. 📌An eight-story watchtower dominates the entire complex. Buildings are arranged around it in a horseshoe shape, and the castle comprises numerous towers with bastions, battlements, windows, and arches. Two long bridges, each surmounted by a short drawbridge, create a fantastical design, crossing the deep dry moat surrounding the castle. The Knight's Hall and Armory, one of the few rooms to retain its original Gothic vaulting, are among the few remaining rooms. The Knight's Bedroom and Neo-Gothic Chapel, along with a Gothic altar and tombs, occupy the central portion of the castle.
