[Germany] Nuremberg St. Lorenz Church

#SummerCampaign A city landmark, St. Lorenz Church is Nuremberg's largest church. Built between the mid-13th and 15th centuries, it features typical Gothic architecture and two powerful spires and a beautiful 9-meter rose window. The interior of the church also offers plenty to see. The relief of the "Annunciation" hanging from the ceiling inside the church depicts the Archangel Gabriel and Mary standing side by side. The numerous windows lined up on the walls and behind the altar are said to be fitted with beautiful stained-glass windows that were protected during air raids. The church boasts a 19-meter-tall tower, built in the 15th century. Built within the church in hopes of reaching the heavens, its impressive height and the intricate carvings on its pillars are truly impressive.
