The feature of this waterfall is not the volume of water or the height of the waterfall, but the gentle waterfall that can be seen from close up. I think the river is Katashina River, but if you know the river, please let me know in the comments. I rented a car from Jomo-Kogen Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen and visited the area. There are many parking lots nearby that say "this is the closest parking lot to the waterfall", which can be confusing, but you can get there quickly from any parking lot around the map, so there is no need to rush.
