Where Heritage Meets Innovation: Green's Windmill

#nottinghamtrip Green's Windmill is a charming piece of Nottingham's history. This 19th-century windmill has been beautifully restored to its former glory. As I stepped inside, I was fascinated by the intricate machinery and the story of George Green, the mathematician who once owned the mill. The windmill still grinds grain into flour, which is then sold in the on-site shop. I loved climbing to the top for panoramic views of the city. The surrounding gardens are also worth exploring, with their picturesque pond and walking trails. As I left, I felt a sense of appreciation for the preservation of this historic gem and the chance to experience a piece of Nottingham's industrial heritage.
