Nottingham Castle

#uktrip We had a fantastic time at Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery! It’s the perfect mix of art and history, set in a beautiful location with amazing views over the city. The art collection is really impressive, with a great mix of classic and modern works. We were lucky to catch the Claude Monet exhibition! Seeing Monet’s work up close, along with paintings from other famous Impressionist artists like Renoir and Pissarro, was an incredible experience. The history exhibits are just as good. The museum does a great job of telling Nottingham’s story, from medieval times to the present. There’s lots about Robin Hood, the castle’s past, and even some underground caves to explore! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole place had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It’s easy to walk around, and there’s plenty to see without feeling overwhelmed. If you’re visiting Nottingham, this museum is a must-see! Whether you love art, history, or just exploring cool places, you won’t be disappointed. Entry price for adult £15 per person and additional £5 for the caves which takes around 45mins.
