Lugu Lake Slow Life·In the Shadow of Pines Located in Puluo Village within the Lugu Lake scenic area, you need to buy a ticket to enter. The drive from Lijiang takes about 3.5 hours, and you can buy bus tickets online. The hotel prices are around 1.5k, and I heard from the shopkeeper that it's about 2.5k during the peak season. There's a parking lot for those who drive themselves, and for those who don't, the shopkeepers will arrange transportation, so there's no need to worry too much about whether to drive or not. Each room faces Lugu Lake directly, and because the hotel is on a mountain, the lake view is wider and more expansive than what you'd see from the lakeside, which I personally find more beautiful. The rooms have underfloor heating, so you can wear beautiful dresses for photos without feeling cold. The space is wonderfully designed, with many corners that are great for taking pictures. The staff are very friendly and attentive, providing guests with enough 'personal space.' If time allows, it's worth staying for several nights.
