🇺🇸New York Diary 02 Immersive Drama "Life & Trust"

A friend recommended Sleep No More, a must-see when visiting NY. I made an appointment in advance for Life & Trust, the latest immersive theater experience created by the same team in mid-2024. Although it cannot be compared, the sound and light, stage effects, and the artistic expression of each link are very strongly integrated with the story, but to be honest, it is still a mixed bag 🤔 Okay first: 🎶As soon as I walked in, I was amazed by the retro and vintage bank decoration. It should be a century-old bank site on Wall Street. The background is the Great Depression in 1929, the day before the 10/24 stock market crash. The story of Mr. Conwell exchanging souls with the devil and traveling through time and space is profound❗️❗️ 🎶The audience will participate in the investor conference as "investors" in different industries. Following different characters can unlock different story lines. After the end, they can come out and piece together the final complete story with friends, which may also be one of the fun things. 🎶The theater was transformed into a retro New York chandeliers from the 1930s, with leather sofas, red velvet curtains, and fine details; you can watch the actors up close, every look and movement is full of tension, I deliberately got very close😆 🎶The dancers have very solid skills and are extremely good at controlling the situation. They can perform various highly artistic moves even on a table! There are also disadvantages: ❌ The whole play is divided into two loops and performed twice. You will run down a total of five floors non-stop for the whole night. Don’t pretend to be young and say you won’t get tired😅 ❌Because the actors change scenes very quickly, sometimes you will lose track. At the beginning, you don’t know how many characters there are. You may be exhausted all night and still not be able to piece together the story. ❌ There are many big scenes in the male protagonist's story line, and there are 🔞😂, but there are also many people with the male protagonist, and sometimes you can't squeeze in ❌If you are not good at English or don’t want to use your brain or are afraid of the dark, don’t go, you will be disappointed ❌We went in at 7pm and ended at 11pm. Sometimes actors would act out a scene too detailed and for too long, which would be 🥱 🌟Tips: Arrive half an hour early + wear comfortable shoes and clothes ✔️ It costs $5 to store check bags.
