Jack's Wife Freda.

After looking at the menu online and reading some reviews. I was really looking forward to eating at Jack's wife Freda - we even bought a cookbook. And the food is very good, but there are some things too. the matzo ball soup was amazing - one of the better restaurants I have eaten in. the matzo ball itself was a little warm inside, so it could sit in the soup a little longer. For appetizers. I really enjoyed the chicken skewers, and the hot green sauce that came perfectly. Split a salad which was also amazing. The Couscous it came with was flavorful but a bit too dry, with no option to moisten it. My wife enjoyed the avocado and toast, and the kids loved the stick fish. The only true miss is the Cantaloupe Juice. At $6 drinks, we ordered a few, and they were very bitter - not good at all. Quite really transporting. We arrived just after eating at 4:30 pm, so we were still on the breakfast/lunch menu. Would have preferred to try some of the items on the dinner menu. Overall it was a pleasant place to eat and I will be back to try the breakfast and dinner dishes.
