One and a half hours from Shanghai, Nanning is a great place to take your kids. On Saturday morning, I was still wondering where to go for a weekend runaway, and I came to Nanning in a flash... I stayed by the Zilan Lake, and there was a large park by the lake downstairs from the hotel, which was especially suitable for scooters/balance bikes/bicycles. Even on weekends, there were not many people. It was a great place to wash your lungs and feast your eyes. The park was very large, and the Nanning Grand Theater and Zilan Xintianyudi were built around the lake. The night view was also very beautiful, and there were colorful fountains. What to eat: As a foodie with a little foodie, of course, I have to try the local specialty of Nanning - pufferfish. Nanning's pufferfish is farmed and non-toxic, so you can try it without worry! Braised pufferfish with rice is the best! In addition, this "net celebrity" rice wine rice cake" in Nanning really didn't disappoint me. It was fragrant and chewy, 9.9 yuan for a large bag of 6 pieces, not too sweet, suitable for all ages. Although I didn't go to any attractions, it was still very nice to live by the lake and enjoy the leisurely life of the weekend.
