Niushoushan, one of Nanjing's four major scenic spots, is described in ancient texts as 'the place where spring returns to Jinling, between the mountains and waters of Niushou.' This perfectly captures the beauty of the area. On this trip to Nanjing, we specially arranged a visit to the Foding Palace, which resembles an art museum and enshrines the highest Buddhist relic: the 'top bone relic' of Shakyamuni Buddha. The exterior of the Niushoushan Cultural Tourism Area is quite artistically designed. The palace roof is composed of three-dimensional ridges, resembling the Buddha's top relic. The adjacent hollow grid canopy looks like an open treasure umbrella, providing shelter for the Buddha, full of artistic conception and design sense. The interior space of the palace is tall and deep, with solemn Buddha statues and totems forming thousands of Buddha images. The sacred Buddha's top relic is enshrined here, allowing devotees to pay their respects, which is quite a visual shock!
