What I look forward to most on this trip is the endless grassland of Kusasenri in Mt. Aso💚 Be sure to pay attention to the weather when you come to Aso City. If it rains heavily and visibility is low, you will only see fog when you reach Mt. Aso. When you arrive at Aso Station, you can buy a one-day bus ticket (650 yen) to Kusasenri Aso Volcano Museum Station and Aso Crater Station 🚌🏔️ The characteristics of each volcano will be introduced on the bus👍🏻 You can get off at Kusasenri Aso Volcano Museum first. This is an indoor museum with some restaurants nearby. On the other side of the museum is Kusa Senri. This is an endless grassland where you can admire Mount Aso from a distance, get up close to horses, and even experience horseback riding. Then you can go up to the Aso crater.
